During this time of economic uncertainty, the leadership of FCA has trusted the Lord to lead. Through this process, I firmly believe that God is moving in this ministry! Our fiscal 2009 ministry impact report shows nearly two million people who are being reached through our ministry.
God is also moving among our staff. I am pleased to introduce Donnie Dee, a 19-year veteran of FCA, as our new Executive Director/COO. God has confirmed that Donnie is the right person to run the day-to-day operations of FCA in Kansas City while I am out traveling as an ambassador to our staff, athletes, coaches, donors and ministry friends.

We are also excited about upcoming opportunities to reach athletes and coaches for Christ. One way that is happening is through the vision of my dear friend, Gary Brasher. Gary was a player of mine when I coached at the University of Colorado and now is a triathlete whom God has led to attempt three Ironman distance triathlons in three consecutive days, Nov. 20-22, to raise awareness and funding for FCA. Gary is a testament to how God is raising up people with a heart to serve God through FCA. Learn more at tripleiron422.com
Inside you will find more Heart and Soul Campaign initiatives that your gift is helping become a reality. We are always grateful for your commitment to helping FCA put “the heart and soul in sports.”
Your teammate in Christ,
Les Steckel
